An unique opportunity. On Sunday, April 7, at Campo Marzo in Vicenza, there will be an unmissable chance to admire the city from high above, thanks to a hot air balloon (Loogo srl) which, from 3 p.m. to 6 p.m., will allow people to experience an exciting adventure and admire the landscape from a different perspective. The initiative, that had been initially scheduled for Easter Sunday, has been postponed to this weekend due to bad weather. 'The balloon with controlled flames,' as stated in the municipality's ordinance authorizing the initiative, 'will be in tethered flight, secured to the ground by three tethering ropes, with the possibility of ascending to no more than twenty meters above the ground.' The ticket for one flight will cost 10 euros. The hot air balloon is one of the many initiatives organized at Campo Marzo in conjunction with the Easter amusement park. 'We say “thank you“ to the operators of the attractions,' said the councilor for commerce Cristina Balbi in recent days, 'who once again this year transform Campo Marzo into a great amusement park in the heart of the city.' The Easter amusement park will then be open for another week, until Sunday April 14, featuring 31 rides for adults and children, and two food stalls. The amusement park is open from Monday to Thursday from 3:30 p.m. to 10 p.m. and longer on weekends: on Friday from 3 p.m. to 11:30 p.m., on Saturday, from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. and from 3:30 p.m. to 11:30 p.m. On Sundays and holidays the opening time will be from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. and from 3:30 p.m. to 10 p.m.. Special days have been scheduled. Two were dedicated to people with disabilities: the first, held on March 22, saw the participation of 120 people, while the second one took place yesterday.
